january 19th:
Startet all over again, the hat was getting far too tight grumblegrumble

My modifications the second time:

-provisional cast on 116 stitches with the lb
with needle size 3.5 mm
-knit in rounds according the pattern
-knit the last 6 rounds before the braided band with
the db
-change color again, knit the braided band and the rest
of the cap according the pattern but use for the braid
part needle size 4 mm
-decrease:
-first round: equally spread decrease 4 stitches
-second round: * k12, k2tog *
-third round: knit
-follow the pattern to the end.

This way I perfectly came out with one skein of each color.
