These are my Hirta mitts with a little Sun Dial thrown into the thumbs because I just can’t leave well enough alone…

Mitt 1 is done! Since I wanted to add ribbing on the thumb-side of things I didn’t use a turned hem. Instead along the stockinette edge I worked the first rnd in purl, then continued in stockinette, and worked the last rnd in purl. It’s just a little visual trim, I think mostly the ribbed side is what keeps things from rolling.

Ok, yes. I know I can’t actually win a mitt-along prize if I’m the one giving them away…
