These colors & yarn were perfect for the project. Lion Brand Homespun is ideally variegated, and the “parfait” color looks so much like real raw bacon it made me want to go wash the grease off my hands.

I messed with the color changes a lot since I was using 4 different colors. I also added another 3-4 rows to add more curling texture and tighten up the finishing edge. One row was a mixture of (skip 2, sc 2 or 3) repeat to tighten & add texture. The next was an additional row of the chevron pattern. Final two rows were sc all the way across to leave it with a nice, smooth finish and balance out the colors.
