CO 48 sts onto 3.75mm DPNs. Worked 3X1 ribbing for 4”. Next row, (knit 1, M1, knit 2), repeat in each odd set (1st, 3rd,etc) of knit sts. Knit 5 rows. Increase 1 st the same way, but in the even set (2nd, 4th, etc) of knit sts. Knit 5 rows. Repeat these 2 increases once more, 5 sts within sets of knit sts, 72 sts total. Worked till desired length of forearm, my length:- 9”.

Switch to 4.00mm circs, create split & do increases. Place marker. In each group of 5 knit sts of ribbing, KFB to M1 in 5 knit sts, M1 in the bar, P1, repeat to the end. 144 sts. This creates 1x1 ribbing. Reach marker & turn work. Slip 1st st on each row.

Work 1x1 ribbing for 60”.

At the 38” mark! After 3 hrs of knittng, at the 41” mark. Should be ready to start 2nd cuff by Jan 15th & will have the fitting over that weekend!

Place a marker & join work, make sure you’re putting the join on the same side of the wrap as the 1st cuff. K2TOG 5 times, P2TOG, repeat to end. Switch to 3.75mm DPNs. K5, P1, repeat to end round for 2 1/2”. Mirror increases from 1st cuff as decreases until 3X1 ribbing; then work 4” & cast off loosely.
