Inspired by the Ralph Lauren 2010 Winter Olympic hat, and the Olympic Reindeer Hat pattern (but re-engineered using sport weight yarn instead of worsted weight).

The trees and moose/reindeer are duplicate stitch, everything else is stranded. The decreases are k2tog-slide marker- ssk.

I added a fleece lining on the inside of the brim by knitting 2 rows, then purling 1 row (turning row) to create a hem, then I knit the chart. The lining is then sewn in to secure it.
