Prefer a tapered flip flop so here are my modifications: Ch 9, 3 dc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in next 2 dc, hdc in next 3 hdc, 7 hdc in 1st ch for step 1 which starts at toe. Step 2 starts at heel. Then follow original directions. My sister needed a new luggage tag for our trip to Las Vegas! Used scraps of worsted weight.
