Notes

Make it gingham patterned. 60sts. Red edge. Switch to gingham 1-2 rounds after eyelet round. K 4 extra sts at end of eyelet round.

Still working out how to do decreases. ETA: They ended up being a bit of seat-of-my hat as worked best with the pattern.
