The chart for this pattern can be downloaded, but not the instructions. I found the written instructions a little tricky to follow, so I’ve put my own interpretation / translation here, so I have a quick reference guide, which I can print off. If you want to see the round by round photos and full original written instructions, you need to go the pattern on the MyPicot website.

Stitches used in this pattern (American terms):
Chain stitch – ch
Slip stitch – sl.st
Single crochet – sc
Half double crochet – h.dc
Double Crochet – dc
3 dc puff stitch – puff st.
Shell of 3 puff.st – shell: work 1puff st.+ 2ch + 1puff st. + 2ch + 1puff st. in the same st.
Stitch - st
Puff st.: yarn over hook, insert hook into st and draw yarn up. Repeat this step 2 times (work in the same st ). Yarn over hook and draw through 6 loops, yarn over hook and draw through all loops.

Round 1: 4ch, 2dc in first ch, * 3ch, 3dc in first ch; rep from * 2 times, 1ch, 1 h.dc to join.

Round 2: 1ch, 1sc in space of 1ch and h.dc, 1ch, work shell in 2nd dc of the 3 dc in the 1st row, ch, 1 sc in 3ch space, 1 ch, work shell in 2nd dc of row below; rep from, 2 times, 1ch, sl.st in ch.

Round 3:
3ch, 2dc in same st.
Corner: 5ch, skip puffs, 3dc + 3ch + 3dc in next sc below.
For this round work Corner 2 times more.

Round 4:

Repeat rows 5 - 6 until you have reached your desired size of square.

To finish with a straight edge, finish with an odd-numbered round.

For the border I finished by doing 3sc into each corner, then 2sc into the 5ch, 1sc into the 5ch, catching the stitch from the centre puff below, then 2 more sc into the rest of the 5ch, and 1sc in all the other stitches.
