Spinning the yarn to look like Noro Silk Garden.. Finding it difficult to match the exact grist.
Skein 1: 62 grams, 103 meters
Skein 2: 56 grams, 102 meters
Skein 3: 56 grams, 103 meters.

Sept. 29 2012:
Yarn is all spun up and I’m knitting! Right now working on sixth row of welt 1. Almost used up the first ball. Will I have enough yarn? I have a total of 1290 meters and I know I’m cutting it close..

Oct. 1, 2012:
Working on the 6th welt and almost used 3 balls (of 12). I’m scared!!! - But I like how it looks so far.

Oct. 11, 2012:
I have dyed more fiber, because I’ll surely run out.. Just finished welt 18 and have used up a little more than half of my yarn supply.

Nov. 24, 2012:
My handspun swirl is now finished and will be dry enough for photo session later today. I’m very exited about the fit. It was a little tight fitting before washing.
I have used up 13 skeins of my handspun singles yarn. Approximately 1400 meters in total.
Later, after washing and (almost) dry: Fits perfectly!
