Modifications:

During the first repeat of Section C, I worked rows 1-17 as a transition. The already established ‘balloons’ I finished as previously set. On Rows 7-11 I worked the new ‘balloons’ with k3togs and sssks on the outsides. From Row 13, I worked the new ‘balloons’ as written. On Row 17, I discovered I consistently had 5 sts where I was supposed to have 4, so I worked extra decreases.

From Row 18 returning to following the pattern completely as written.

Now that I am well into Section C, I am fascinated with this brilliant reprise!

Took me a couple of tries to get it blocked right. Initially I tried to make the two lace edges a right angle. Ha! Didn’t think that one through well. Once I switched it around, the lines fell into place.

And, of course, this was my cast knitting. I cast on a week into the cast, and had finished the first chart before it was removed. Even though the rows grew longer, thanks to the cast removal, the second chart went faster than the first!
