Decided to convert this nice knit/purl design into a bright red headband. My gauge 17st and 24 rows over 2” on Carbonz 1.5 (2.5mm) needles.

Long-tail Cast-on: 170 stitches for a 20” headband (this is 5 pattern repeats - 34 st. each) tech knitter join to knit in the round.

1st round knit to establish smooth join, 2nd round k2, P1, K1, P1, knit 3rd round begin pattern per chart.
