Was gifted some lovely, amazingly soft and fluffy yarn and it knitted up exactly to gauge on U.S. 10 needles. It’s light as a feather but exceedingly warm so I thought I’d have a go at making a Carbeth ‘light’. I’m planning to increase the body length to 12”

01-23-2019 Sleeves and body joined!

The sleeves and the body have finally come together on one long circular needle! I made the sleeves a bit longer as well so to recap:

Body length to underarms: 12”
sleeve length to underarms: 20.5 (with 5” of ribbing)

02-03-2019
Just finished it up today. Decided to do the full length neck ribbing (40 rows) and finish it with a sewn bind off. Feeling good about the armpit grafting which is about the best I’ve ever done :). I made a size 3 because I wanted extra positive ease but I’m a bit concerned that it’s too ‘oversized’ but I’ll find out once it’s dry and I put it on. Guess I’ll have to wait for tomorrow!
