Started this day before yesterday. The pattern and the yarn arrived on the same day so the only thing I had to do was order 3.25mm tips for my needle set as, of course, that was the only size I didn’t have!
So, I was able to do the rib with my 3mm needles and the 3.25 arrived yesterday. I’m not getting gauge (as usual) but, it’s a hat…so, I figure that I can block it to the size I need whatever happens.
I picked the colours that remind me of Spring on the Ligurian coast in Italy. Perhaps I should have used Horseback Brown rather than Gloamin’ but I was also thinking of all the rich colours used by Kaffee Fassett.
