After making my first Deschain in black last year, I found that I wore it a lot so I made a second one in brown. This time I did a backwards loop cast on at the top so that the shoulder seam would be less bulky - worked great! Seaming the shoulders with a 3-needle bind off makes a firm enough seam so I had no trouble with stretching and a nice, flat seam.
