Finished size appx. 166cm x 45cm (65” wingspan x 18” depth) finished with 172 stitches on my needles before beginning with the picot edge.

End notes: Having washed and blocked, I am going to put the picot edge on the other short side to cover the uneven edge caused by changes of weight and texture. I’ll crochet along the long edge for the same reason.
I would suggest to anyone making this shawl with even slightly different weights or textures of wool to plan ahead for an edge finish of some kind on all 3 sides.

Very excited to try this easy pattern as I have piles of small ‘left overs’ or single skeins that I haven’t found a use for. If I make again I will follow the slipped stitch edge like RogenGris, which has a more ‘clean’ looking edge.

I do think that to be more than a little triangle for a doll, I will need to add a third colour but I have a lot of choices in my stash bag!
