Notes

Wanted to see if I could spin yarn that was the same weight as Jameson and Smith shetland 2 ply and I can :)! Once the yarn was done I decided to make a colorwork sock with a greek key pattern so I graphed it out and started in with toe up.

Did a regular short-row heel and was disappointed so I tried the Fish Lips Kiss heel (in two colour stripe) and I’m really happy with that! Thanks Mom for teaching me how to make it <3.

Well, too much experimenting! I didn’t spin all of the yarn before I started so my second sock is tighter than the first. Oh, well, live and learn. I still like them and they still fit so next time I’ll spin all of the yarn before I get started and try making a toe-down version so that I can have more ease across the instep.
