turned out to be a perfect fit, I did a little reduction at the ankle and then expanded in the foot section which was then 56 stitches. They’ll be cosy inside her riding boots once it’s November ;). Easy pattern to knit and to adjust.

I was surprised that the yarn came out of the skeins reversed. The only way I could have matched the stripes would have been to wind off a fair amount of yardage from one or the other and then have pulled off the outside of one ball and the inside of another. The yarn is otherwise nice but if you’re a stickler for stripes lining up, this is not the yarn for you.
