Very happy with the new ‘experiment’ I was using up some extra stash and trying out an experiment with making a ‘wedge shaped’ gusset starting from the centre of the arch of the foot, then a reinforced shortrow heel with gradual decreases in a reverse wedge shape from the back of the ankle. This gusset will need some refining but the fit is really nice on feet with high arches :).

Cast on 56, increased 7 st on each side of centre to create gusset and decreased the same to bring it back down to 56 after heel.
