Even after I finished my Brain Wave Hat, I still had some leftovers from my Dathan Pullover so I decided to whip up a much faster hat by holding two strands of Milarrochy Tweed together but then splicing them together as I go with the next colour but overlapping so that the colours blend.
Cast on 90 stitches using a single strand and a german long-tail cast on for stretchyness.
Happy with the result so far and wow, this yarn knits up so much faster with two strands, it makes me want to experiment more with this technique…

Okay, super fast project! Finished it in the same day, washed it and it’s drying now. Will put a better picture up tomorrow but I’m quite pleased with the shape, the rolled brim, and the way the colours blended
