March 2014: Made it to the heel and going to start working up the leg in pattern. I think I’ll top them with picot edging in the grey color instead of ribbing, seems more in keeping with the feminine design.
Note: Heel stitches are incorrect in the pattern! There are 29 stitches so I chose to make a longer heel (9 center stitches and 10 wrapped stitches on each side). Looks fine and will make a more comfortable fit for my foot anyway.

Feb. 2014: I’m slow as a snail but they’re coming along. I like the pattern better now that I can see some more of it!

Dec. 2013: Making progress! I start to see how the pattern is taking shape and have the toe started on the second sock.

July 2013:Just starting at the tip-toe of the Josephine iceberg ;). Good practice stranded knitting. Already noted that the pattern for the sole/heel has 29 stitches and the pattern repeat 3. Just decided to knit the left over stitches on one side with the MC.

I’m sure to have plenty of this yarn left over after Jenjoyce’s Penny Candy Socks…so I’m set to do these (esp. since I’ve already done the gauge swatch and it’ll be fine on U.S. #2’s (unless you’re a super loose knitter, I would not even bother swatching on U.S. 1’s as the pattern suggests, move up to 2, 2.5 or 3 to get a sock not made for a truly narrow foot.
