03-06-2021 Finished with mods

I decided that I wanted a brim that could be folded up for extra warmth around the ears and because then it creates a thicker band that keeps my head from looking like the ‘bean’ in beanie. So, this hat has 5” of ribbing and then 5” of stockinette before the decreases. 10” seems to be a really good length hat for me. The fit with the 1x1 rib and 2” negative ease is really nice, firm but not tight. Very happy with it before blocking so we’ll have to see if it’s still this nice after washing and drying…
