Looking for 1 skein projects to do with my favourite Italian wools. So happy that I am able to combine two of the yarn’s I love in a single, super fast and useful project!

The yarns are slightly different weights so I made the following mods:

1. Worked the heavier, solid colored yarn with 3.5mm needles and the slightly lighter wool/mohair with 4.00mm needles
2. With the smaller needles, worked 1 round of knit at each color change with the ‘new color’ before beginning pattern - it really hides the color changes perfectly!
3. Picked up 5 stitches across the thumb join and then decreased 2 of them on the 3rd thumb round to avoid holes. Knit entire thumb with 3.5 mm needles and made a bit longer than called for in the pattern.
4. Added pink ribbing to thumb by knitting 1 round knit, 2 rounds 1x1 rib, cast off with snug, standard cast off to keep thumb stitches from spreading.
