decided to use a bigger needle (3.75) as, in my experience in knitting with this yarn, a 3.25 would be too tight for the ‘squishy’ garter feel that I like. Fun pattern, easy, can see that it could be fun to do with more than 2 colours.

Depth is fine (12”) but didn’t quite make it to the one meter wingspan, soaking now so we’ll see after blocking. Also didn’t quite make it with the yarn quantities so I bound off with a contrasting colour (Buckthorn) and a 3 stitch i-cord. I think it looks nice and now I want to make a headband in the contrasting colour to wear with the kerchief.
