making up a short version of these to try the braid and heel techniques which are both new for me (and to use up a bit of yarn from my sock yarn stash ;).

Finished sock one this morning and started sock two. have done one extra stitch on gusset and 6 dark stripes on foot.

the only thing I would change if I made these again is the ridge up the center of the foot that happens from carrying up the colours I would put on one side or the other, it makes too much of a lump in the center, espeically right at the ball of the foot.
