Notes

This is a really fast knit with lots of impact for a the little time you spend. The pattern is clearly written and easy to follow or make little mods if you want to personalize the fit. Both the cast-on and bind-off are innovative but not difficult to learn and they achieve the goal of taming the curl without being too tight. Using the small sized needle for this technique might seem counter-intuitive but (at least for me) I found it worked perfectly.

I was a bit off with the size I chose. I used a slightly lighter weight yarn and with my palm circumference at 7-3/8” I thought I’d make the larger of the two sizes. Although I did have the stitch gauge of the pattern, they feel a bit roomy even after washing and blocking; so, I think I’ll go for the smaller of the two sizes or move down a needle size for the next pair.

Altogether loads of fun and fast to knit and even making the large/short cuff version I still got away with needing less than 120 yards of the MC making these perfect as a stash busting project for Spring or Fall.
