10-09-2020 Change of needle size / foot mod

when I got towards the bottom of the heel flap, I realized that the foot was going to be too wide if I didn’t go down a needle size. So, for the last 8 rows of the heel flap I switched to a 3.0mm and then decided to stick with it. I also stopped the twist pattern after the first instep repeat in the gusset. I was worried that the little twist ‘knot’ would press against the top of the foot in winter boots and be less comfortable than just continuing the rib pattern. Looks pretty like that too :).
