YARN:
Handspun made from Polwarth dyed by David of Southern Cross Fibre. The body is one ply of Grevillia and one of Boogie Wonderland. 1lb total. I have plenty left over but not enough for the collar. I picked up stitches in the Grevillia Wonderland and then started in with my Contrast band of “Sunburnt Country”. All bulky 2 ply yarns.

I spun 1lb for the body (600 yards ish) and 8 ounces for the collar (400 yards ish). I used almost all of the body yarn and a little over half of the collar yarn.

ALTERATIONS:
Normally I would knit a size between the Small and Medium. So I started out casting on for the small and increased to the medium stitches. My row gauge is a tad off so it allowed me the extra rows.

And because of the difference in sizing and boob to waist difference, I did 4 waist shaping decreases in a smaller amount of rows.

I lengthened the body and the sleeves. The sleeves I also did more decreases, they’re still big and bell like but I decreased down to 34 sts.

I added 6 rows of garter at the hem of the body and the sleeves to prevent serious curling. Sometimes it’s not bad with the super chunky stuff but I wasn’t going to take a risk.

KNITTING NOTES:
I cast on on the 6th but left it sitting there for a could of days. I picked it back up on the 9th and have been working on it 3 days and the body is done. FAST KNIT!
