These are the very best there ever was.

Two (very nearly) identical gradient skeins in the PERFECT Browncoat colourway? Arm things of course! It can get chilly way out in the ‘verse…

So this was an on-the-fly pattern. I did a 20ish st, 10ish row swatch, held it up to my arm, and cast on 40. I knit and knit and knit, and was NOT expecting them to be this long, so yay. I figured the yellow would land right at my hand, so I started the thumb gusset there (basically the same as these ones from Churchmouse, but without the purls on the side), and then knit until I was nearly out of yarn, did a purl row, and bound off. Repeated a second time.

They are absolutly fantastic, and soooooo soft. My only tiny sad is that they are actually too long. The end of the red part hits ON my inner elbow, which is apparently very sensitive to anything that isn’t air, so it itches terribly if I wear them all the way up. If I slouch them like, an inch, it’s perfect though.

As to the yarn usage - I cut off no more than an inch on either end after weaving in, per glove, so I used ALL of the yarn.
