MC “Manuscript” // yarn held double

  • CO with 2.75 mm DPN (didn’t have 3 mm ones)

  • Changed to circular needles and magic loop after round 3

  • Added 2 repeat of the “k 4 rows / purl 4 rows” section (5 reverse stockinette stitch “stripes” total).

Since my gauge was pretty off the recommended one, I decided not to double the fabric so as to keep the pouch stretchy enough. My mods, from the 1st “hole row on” :

  • round 1 : k2tog, yo
  • knit 6 rounds
  • next round : k2tog, yo
  • knit 6 rounds
  • next round : k2tog, yo
  • next round : BO with 3.75 mm needle

Folded the top hem and secured in place by pulling the I-cord through the holes of the 1st & 3rd rows.
