The skirt is evidently supposed to be in k1xp3 rib, but I didn’t like how that looked in the smooth cotton I used, so when I got to the waist, I made the reverse side the right side, which made it a k3xp1 rib. If I’d made it with the metallic yarn, it probably would have looked fine with the purl side showing.

Since the bodice from the waist up is all stockinette, it doesn’t fit as snugly as I’d like. If I were making it again, I would probably work 1x1 rib for a few stitches at the beginning and end of each row, so that the back of the bodice would be ribbed and pull in a little more tightly.

But overall, I like how it turned out.
