I did 7-stitch nupps, using the “some nupps” option. I used much less yarn than I expected. I thought about trying to add additional length, but didn’t really want to try to chart something out, and I really think the design is perfect the way it is.

If I’d known how much yarn I’d have left over, I probably would have gone up a needle size, or made 9-stitch nupps. But I really like the size, so I guess it all worked out fine.

It’s a gorgeous pattern, and I get lots of compliments on it when I wear it. It’s one of the prettiest things I’ve made.

Don’t be put off by the amount of time it took me to make this shawl - that was because I took months off due to radial tunnel problems, and then could only knit in short time intervals. Otherwise this would have been a much quicker knit than it looks.

It never got boring, because the pattern changed often.
