Notes

Total fail. Much too long, even after shrinking them as much as I could with many trips through the washer and dryer.

I should have knit the smallest size, but then they would probably have been too narrow. (I wear US 8.5 to 9 shoes, Eu 39)

I didn’t bother checking my gauge, because they’re just slippers, and I figured they’d fit someone else if they didn’t fit me. But they’re so long and skinny, they won’t work at all for a human being.

They’re tight around my foot, even after stretching them hard width-wise, and at least 2” too long. The width would probably have been OK after wearing and stretching them out for a while.

I thought about cutting off the heel and sewing the back seam to fit, but I really didn’t like how the colors looked after felting anyway.

If I made them again, I would knit the smallest size, but with the medium size width. I’d also pick colors with less contrast than the red and white I used.
