I really like how they fit my feet - I have a high instep, and these work really well.

It seems weird to start with 80 stitches, but it decreases down to 64 at the foot. The cuff will seem HUGE, but it works out. The cables really draw in the fabric, so you need the 80 stitches. Even though the cuff is big, it still fits fine because of the ribbing - but if I made them again, I might use a 2.25mm needle for the cuff, then go back to the 2.5mm needle when I start the cable chart.

Modifications: I made the ribbing on the cuff a little shorter (16 rounds, I think). I made a star toe instead of the wedge toe, because it fits my feet better. I also didn’t do the purl row between the cables and the toe.
