Came out quite large - about 83” wingspan, and 27” deep. I probably would have gone down a needle size for this yarn if I’d realized how large it would be. I didn’t really stretch it out when blocking - just evened out the triangle edges a bit.

I used kfb increases at the edges, but kept the M1 increases for the center spine.

For the W&Ts, I used the same method as rabeckie, and it worked very well.

For the bindoff, I used the Estonian bind-off (video here).

I like this linen yarn very much, but one of my skeins had about 6 sections (each a couple of feet long), where the cable ply was not properly formed. I’m guessing that it was where sections were joined together, and the end of one had unraveled a bit. I had to cut them out, which wasn’t fun because of all the extra ends I had to deal with.

Cut ends of the yarn will unravel easily. The yarn is just one strand of linen thread that is somehow looped into a chain, so if you pull on the end of a strand, it unravels the chain. Usually it will stop unraveling after a little bit, so I would pull on the thread until it stopped unraveling the chain, and then use the single thread to sew the two ends of yarn together when joining. If the thread didn’t stop unraveling by itself, I just put it through a needle, and ran it through some of the loops of the chain to stop the chain from continuing to unravel.
