Project’s named after the mother of the main protagonist in Seanan McGuire’s October Daye books! Really it was just a natural project name for me as the pronunciation of the sock pattern is so close to the character’s name. Also the yarn itself in purple and neon green is a little bit out there, like the character for much of the series.
