Cast this on today! Learned that in the 2nd and 3rd sizes, you’re supposed to have a reverse stockinette texture at the far edges of the back above the hem, so I had to drop those stitches back and make that happen properly - the directions are vague about that, and the pictures don’t seem to show it well.

This would be my first Aran-style sweater. Yay for experimenting on babies! I mean, uh, BABY CLOTHES. Yes.

2015: Yes, it’s three years later. Yes, it didn’t get finished in time for that baby - but it will be finished for a new one! There’s always another new baby. I’m putting the buttons on it now. Pics coming soon!
