Adjusting pattern as I go. I’m 5’10” so wanted it longer. Also have had over 60 birthdays and wanted it to cover my upper arm more than pictured. Added increases while in the round and also when first went flat, Increased slowly to a total of 48 extra stitches keeping in cable pattern. Also added a 4 stitch i-cord edge on each side of the flat portion. When I started working the 5th ball of yarn I tried it on after each 16 row repeat of pattern, at 50” I was happy and turned my work around. I have every row marked with a hash and highlighted my increase rows so now with a contrasting highlighter am working my way back.

Back to original pattern and so far I think I’m getting what I hoped for. Want to wear this to a fiber event the end of the month. Think I’ll make it.
