A pullover sweater for Ella’s birthday in October. She wants a Strawberry Shortcake theme and I thought this colorway coordinated perfectly. The cabled yoke will be in the solid magenta. Color is most accurate in bottom photo since the other pictures were taken with an overcast sky.

This yarn is to die for! So so so so SO soft. I’d put it against a newborn’s skin.

Casting on now, even though I have other MUST DO projects because I need something to knit while talking. Everything else requires too much focus or the yarn hasn’t arrived yet.

{7.2.11} Putting this aside now, since my other yarn has arrived for a must do NOW project. I have completed everything but the cabled yoke. Yay!

{7.24.11} Picking back up since previous project is done and I’m waiting for yarn arrival for my next must complete asap project.

{10.18.11} DONE! I am thrilled with the FO. Incredibly gorgeous. I think this is my favorite item I’ve knit so far. It doesn’t bother me that it’s taken so long to finish. It was done ahead of schedule (10/21) and I never procrastinated due to frustration or boredom. It was always the project I was happy to work on again. The sweater fits perfectly and I can’t wait to take pictures on Saturday at her party.
