This pattern was challenging due to poorly written instructions. Lots of weird directions weren’t possible. I ended up winging it and because of that, the front panels aren’t mirror images. Oh well. I don’t think it’s noticeable when on Miles, only when laying flat.

I whip stitched button hole. I love the texture this creates along with the added benefit of reinforced button holes.

Mustard yellow is my new love. Now I’m trying to locate the perfect chunky brown woven buttons to go with it. While waiting on the buttons, I’ll block it.

Modifying needle size and yarn to make a 24m/2T waistcoat. It ended up being a bit long, but I think when balanced with slacks, it will be fine. At least it will fit for more than one year!
