Love the final result even after so many comings and goings… need to block soon as I really want to wear it! Only 40 cm of yarn left !!!

I bought this yarn because I wanted to try yarn that formed stripes… I am fascinated with the colours and I cannot stop knitting ;)

6/20 Finished the stockinette section and the first repeat of chart A… addictive knitting…. seeing the colours unfold is good fun
Frogged it all!!! although I liked stockinette in 5mm needles, the lacework is flimsy and undefined. Moving down one number

6/24 completed stockinette section and the first repeat of chart A AGAIN on 4.5mm needles and love the fabric that results…. drapey, airy and with defined stitches…. First four rows of chart B done too.

6/25 Guess what??? I frogged again… I didn’t love the lace with 4.5 mm and frogged to the beginning of the lace section and I am trying again with 4mm needles… hope this does the trick.. On the bright side, the pattern has stuck in my memory !
