Notes

April 2011 Adding new squares made for prayer squares. Picture in 3 shades of pink was made for Christine for an Easter Swap.

ETA Notes below pertain to a project that was completed in 2010.
I am crocheting these squares to donate to a group called Survivor Squares. They are collecting granny squares and will assemble them into afghans and then will give them to several families who lost most or all of their belongings in the 2010 Tennessee Flood.
If you would like to help, please join the Ravelry group: survivor squares or contact Ravelry member feymuse. As of 5/9/10 the goal is for 6 blankets (6 families); each blanket takes 63 squares for a total project # of 378 squares.
5/11/10 goal is up to 8 families for a total of 504 total squares.
The project will go beyond that goal based on need and participation.

I used the Blushing Grannies pattern, except I changed to the 3rd color a row early (sl st, ch2, sl st, around) and then just did 2 sc in each ch2 space (with 3 sc in each corner ch2 sp) around to meet the 5x5 measurement.
