3/2/15 - Still have not blocked due to being sick for two months, so not logging as complete. Have, however, figured out a way to get some reasonably priced blocking wires which will help make this look great.

12/25/14 - Yarn is not a perfect match, but it will definitely do. Knit up the last repeat and grafted border together. Blocking scheduled for New Year’s weekend.

12/15/14 - Have located a skein and sent paypal for it. Once that arrives, I’ll be able to finish this sucker. For the moment, though, it’s going into hibernation.

12/13/14 - officially ran out of yarn last night with half a border repeat and grafting to go. Unfortunately, this isn’t a colorway that is in many stashes, so I’ve got my fingers crossed that I’ll be able to get more. Messages have been sent.

12/7/14 - Less than 10 repeats to go -- though I’m starting to get a little worried I might not have quite enough.

11/28/14 - Just finished 38 out of 56 repeats on the border, so only have 18 more to go!

1/1/14 - The shawl is now officially two years old! Am currently 25% of the way through the knit on border after deciding against beads and having to go back and carefully rip everything out so I could remove them. Why no beads? Partially because of weight; I want this to be a shawl I can happily wear and the beads would be a bit of a distraction. Also, I was never able to find ones that really fit exactly what I wanted. I’d rather go without than have something that I feels reduces the elegance of the design.
