I’m attempting this half moon shaped bathmat. I’m not sure if I copied the pattern down wrong, but my version is looking more like a cookie with a bite missing.
In all honesty I’m not following the pattern verbatim, I’m using a larger hook, recycled jersey sheets instead of recycled t-shirts and I didn’t use the “magic circle” to begin, I just chained 7 and sl st beginning ch to create a ring/circle.

I’d love some suggestions for a fix and avoiding a total redo.
