Notes

I made this from some yarn that was sent to me by a lovely Twitter friend I met at Wonderwool Wales a few years back, as a post-surgery knitting gift! So lovely.

The thicker yarn is a thin DK, paler yellows and greens. The thinner yarn is sort of dark blues and greens and purples, laceweight. Both are incredibly soft and beautiful. The laceweight blue-green got a lot of dye on my hands while I was working on it, so I’m going to soak it a bit and try not to felt the Koigu!

I was going for stripes that were more striking in texture and transparency than in colour, and you can see it more when you hold it up to the light.
