Lola very kindly dyed some yarn for me that would make two identical gradient socks! It was a sock blank so I had to cut and unravel it, wash it to ease the kinks and then dry it and wind it. Today, 29th December 2017, I knit both the toes while watching The Librarian movies - excellent knitting movies. I intend to knit two at a time on one circular needle.

The archive page wasn’t showing very well on my computer so I copied it to Google Docs to print it out. You can see my Google Doc (and steal it) here.

Oh gosh, I am way past the ankle and I’m about halfway through the yarn, I think. These socks are going to be LONG. :D

FINISHED and I love these so much! There is a little yarn leftover, which I’ll add to my ever-growing sock yarn blanket. :) I will wash and block these before I give them to my mum, because the stitches are a little wibbly on the back from being a sock blank in a previous life, and I think another wash will flatten it out a bit.

I am so proud of these! The combination of yarn, colour and pattern is so good!
