April 16, 2016
This evening I wound some of the yarn while watching Scorpion, but didn’t start swatching.
1 hour.
April 17, 2016
I started this while watching more Scorpion, and got just over 4 stripes done.
2 hours.
April 18, 2016
1 hour 50 mins.
April 19, 2016
Currently at 5 minutes and 144 stitches per row, just started the first blue stripe (9th overall).
1 hour 50 mins.
April 20, 2016
I’m on the 13th stripe, and there are about 224 stitches.
2 hours 45 mins. (9h 25m running total.)
April 23, 2016
Today I wound the rest of the skein into a HUUUUUGE ball and knit a couple of rows while watching the start of Scorpion season 2 - which, by the way, is painfully awkward.
47 minutes so far.
April 25, 2016
An episode of Scorpion, an episode of Supergirl, and 50 minutes of knitting. A row takes about 6 minutes.
April 27, 2016
I managed 4 rows while watching Supergirl.
32 mins.
April 28, 2016
Scorpion. Poor Sylvester nearly died!
35 mins.
April 30, 2016
30 minutes while watching Supergirl.
May 1, 2016
An hour while watching Supergirl.
May 8, 2016
First knitting post-revision-surgery! 30 minutes with Supergirl. (I’m leaving out the comma on purpose. *sigh*)
May 9, 2016
1 hour, with Freyr and two episodes of Grimm.
May 10, 2016
1 hour with Supergirl and Supernatural. :)
May 12, 2016
47 minutes, with Person of Interest. New episodes OMGGGG!
May 13, 2016
1 hour with Person of Interest and Supernatural. Fortunately the blood-splat machine only works on the other side of the screen.
May 15, 2016
Only 20 minutes. I was pretty tired.
May 15, 2016
31 minutes with Supernatural. :)
May 16, 2016
2 hours, with Supergirl and The Flash. I didn’t get very far because two rows into the last stripe I realised it should be stockinette so I’m having to painstakingly correct it!
May 17, 2016
Some painstaking unpicking today, followed by some more proper knitting - with The Flash and Person of Interest.
3 hours 50 minutes.
May 18, 2016
1 hour 20 minutes of unpicking the first cast-off, knitting another row, and casting off again. #Perfectionism. (Watching The Flash!)
The knitting part is done now. Next steps: weaving in the ends, and then blocking. It’s tempting to think this is easy but… I have no blocking mats and I find washing stuff really hard!
Running total: 26 hours.
May 24, 2016
It’s on the blocking mats!
