My aunt started this years and years ago, and I’ve offered to knit it for her.

She said to add 5cm to the length of the back and sleeves before the decreases. This is sort of a note-to-self.

I’ve finished the front and back panels! Only the two sleeves to go. :) This is lovely yarn, by the way.

After some hardcore knitting, I am about to hit the sewing up stage. I’ve laid out the pieces in a photo so you can see how it goes together. I have no needle but I do have a crochet hook; let’s see how this goes…

Turns out my crochet hook is too small, but maybe this safety pin will work…? I feel like MacGyver.

My mum says her sister says her husband is wearing it a lot even though it’s a bit big! I think that’s a win.
