This sock is a treat to myself; I just found out that my doctor has recommended me for some surgery that I’ve been seeking for two years, and I am really excited even though it’ll probably be over a year of more waiting.

Plus I could really do with more lovely squishy socks; my old handknit socks are getting quite worn out.

Edit: Fantastic, I got three socks out of it and a bit left over for my sock yarn blanket. :)
