I used 2 skeins with only a tiny amount left. As I was knitting, I felt I wanted more shape to it, so added an increase row - k1 yo across the full row when I reached the garter border (approx 120 stitches). I then did 3 repeats of the edging rather than the 5 repeats before casting off. I wanted to either have a very wavy edge, or something I could block into a more interesting shape.

I am experimenting a lot at the moment. Some things might not work out the best way, or to others tastes, but I am really trying to find out what I do and don’t enjoy knitting, so I’m learning lots!

I am very happy with the final piece, which I will be keeping for myself. I will be buying more yarn and making some more for Xmas!
