Saturday pm- cast on and have just completed the first leaf shape on the shoulders.
Flummoxed by row 39 of sleeve pattern so have asked for help. Worked it out without help.
Thursday 12th Feb: now 3” past underarms and plain sailing.
Now doing the first sleeve and hating the yarn. With the DPNS it is splitting and pulling and generally the stitches are looking uneven.
Finally I have finished the buttonhole band and just need to weave in a few ends then soak and block.

I am pleased with the cardi now it is finished. I would knit the smaller size next time so that it is more fitted. It is also quite long (jacket length) but feels comfy and cosy.
